Peripheries
Curated by Exit 11 and showcasing the work of VICE, Peripheries is a collection of artworks that explores the tensions between intimacy and alienation, the personal and geographical, as well as real and enacted realities. Using a combination of mediums, including photography, poetry, video, game design, and augmented reality, the artists embrace the cross-border, digital nature of their collaboration to interrogate location, language, and identity.
GRIT 2023 Playreading Festival
Celebrate the works of four emerging playwrights at Exit 11’s GRIT 2023 Playreading Festival. Developed as part of our GRIT playwriting program, the plays traverse a multitude of themes, including menstruation, marriage, love, ghosts, identity, and aspiration. Join us on Zoom on Saturday, July 1 at 14:00 UTC to experience four incredible new short plays.
Millionaire
A publication of Exit 11, Millionaire is a bilingual Chinese-English illustrated book and audio performance about period poverty in Taiwan. Through the diary of 12-year-old Paine Lee, readers and listeners can peek into the harsh reality of those suffering in period poverty, become aware of the issue, and eventually be motivated to be part of the solution.
